Specific Interests

I study the plasticity of mating tactics within prairie voles (Microtus ochrogaster). I investigate how individual mating decisions are shaped by spatial memory and spatial learning ability. My approach integrates lab and field techniques in neuroscience and animal behavior in order to determine the underlying mechanisms involved in mating strategies and alternative reproductive tactics.
