Under the direction of Dr. Bolek, the laboratory surveys aquatic and semi-aquatic vertebrates and invertebrates for parasites and processes parasite samples. These include:
- Parasites of snails and other aquatic invertebrates
- Parasites of fish
- Parasites of amphibians and reptiles
- Parasites of aquatic birds and mammals
