Specific Interests

I am interested in a wide range of topics including long term effects of parental care on offspring, evolution of mating systems, epigenetic effects on behavioral circuits, and genetic variations in hormones that mediate social behavior. My dissertation work in centered on how variations in paternal care shape offspring behavior at adulthood.  Additional side projects include investigating how maternal contributions to offspring in the womb may effect future mating strategy, and if water deprivation changes ones propensity to engage in pairbonding.
