Specific Interests
I examine the relationship between the neurobiological process of pair bonding and changes in the animals' physiology, with particular emphasis on the reproductive system. I also study changes that occur in the female mammalian brain during pregnancy and motherhood, with emphasis on the development and prevention of postpartum depression.
